A Message from the Couple




OUR LOVE STORY

It all started in our hometown of Merrill, Wisconsin. Austin and I first met while I was working at open skate. We were both shy and a little nervous to talk to each other, but luckily, our friends gave us the little push we needed—and we're so grateful they did.

Once we got together, we spent our last two years of high school side by side. From going to prom to navigating the challenges of COVID, graduating, and dreaming about the future, we grew up together in so many ways. After high school, Austin began his journey with the Local 139 Operating Engineers, and I’ve loved watching him live out his dream job every single day. I couldn’t be prouder of him.

We eventually decided to take a leap and move to Oshkosh, WI, where we learned how to be independent and grow even more as a couple. While there, we brought home a sweet little Mini Australian Shepherd named Zena—our pride and joy. She’s been the perfect addition to our little family. Some of our favorite memories from that time are long walks, playing fetch, and riding electric longboards with Zena trotting happily alongside us.

As much as we loved our time in Oshkosh, we realized just how much our hearts belonged in Merrill—with our families. We’ve always been very family-oriented, and after a year away, we decided it was time to come home. That’s when we began searching for a house and, in September of 2024, we became homeowners for the first time! Learning the ins and outs of owning a home has been an adventure, but we wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Then, on Christmas Day 2024, in the cozy comfort of our own home, Austin asked me to marry him. It was the most beautiful, intimate moment—just the two of us—and I’ll cherish it forever.

We’re so excited to begin this next chapter and can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together, surrounded by the love of our family, friends, and of course, Zena.

Physically Challenged Accommodations:  

Rooms for the physically challenged are available in Caribbean Suites, Caribbean Sand Suites and Rock Star Presidential. All of these rooms are configured with king size beds and they are located on the 1st and 3rd floors in buildings 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 and 8, all with elevators and ramps for easy access. Rooms are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. A request must be added to the reservation at time of booking.

Travel Agent
The couple has chosen to work with me, Stephanie Tindall  at AllInclusiveWeddings.com, to make the travel planning as seamless as possible.  Please read the important information below and contact me to complete your reservation.

What is a room block?

This means that the WEDDING COUPLE has paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for their wedding group.

  • The couple has signed a contract with the resort and has committed to a minimum number of rooms
  • Only rooms booked with AllInclusiveWeddings.com count toward this contract
  • The resort has a 3 night minimum stay requirement, but you are welcome to extend your stay by coming early or staying later!
  • We have reserved a variety of room categories but if you would like to upgrade then I can provide a quote upon request.

What happens if I don't book with AllInclusiveWeddings.com?

The couple has paid a deposit to pre-reserve rooms for the group. They have a group contract that allows them to offer additional benefits for their guests.

The wedding couple kindly asks that you book your hotel within our designated room block here at AllInclusiveWeddings.com.

There are several reasons why you should honor the couple's wishes and book the hotel portion with the group:

  • The couple has worked with me to negotiate a contract for the ENTIRE group. This includes a special, set rate that is locked in for an extended period of time.
  • Groups are given priority status at the resort, so you might miss out on some VIP treatment.
  • Groups are given priority room assignments, so if you book directly, you're likely getting a room that couldn't be sold to a group. It will be leftover inventory, probably in a undesirable location away from everyone else.
  • Groups are given priority in terms of an oversold situation. If the hotel over sells, your group is protected but their reservation is not. You could be walked to another location.
Guests who do not book within the group, unfortunately...

  • Will not get the group rates
  • Will have to pay up front vs. over time.
  • Will not receive any pre-departure, during trip support or post-trip support from me.  I cannot assist with travel arrangements made outside of the group, nor can I assist in the event of an emergency.
  • If staying at a different resort completely, then you will be required to pay a day pass on property to attend wedding events. Note: Day pass sales are extremely limited and have occupancy restrictions.

What's included?

All Inclusive resorts are priced per person, based on how many individuals are sharing a room.

The rates listed are PER PERSON and include:

  • Hotel Accommodations
  • All Inclusive Meal Plan - includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, 24 hour room service and all beverages including alcohol
  • Daily and Nightly entertainment on resort
  • Hotel, Tax & gratuities
  • All wedding events & activities
Optional Travel insurance is available to protect your investment. See insurance FAQ below for more details.

Can we come earlier or stay later?

Absolutely, please include your preferred dates in your reservation form below and I will confirm availability for the extra nights.
Keep in mind, it is at the resort's discretion to honor the group rates for any nights not originally blocked.  If the rate is different I will let you know before confirming.

Do I need a passport?

Yes, all international travelers are required to have a passport, including infants and children. To learn more about the application process, please visit the U.S. Department of State website.

A passport BOOK is required - Passport Cards are not valid for air travel. If you already have a passport, please check the expiration date.

The US State Department recommends and the Dominican Republic Government require that international travelers have 6 months of validity remaining on their passport after their return trip date.

Is travel insurance required?

 
Group reservations at all inclusive resorts have more restrictive cancellation policies that are pre-paid and non-refundable.  For this reason, travel insurance is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to protect your investment. I've seen a lot of weird scenarios pop up that we're unexpected.

We have two types of options:
  • Travel protection - allows cancel for any reason/no questions asked and no claims to be filed.  This option can be added to your package at time of deposit, see pricing in the Steps to Book section below.
  • Travel Insurance - provided from our preferred travel insurance provider. Cost is based on your age, your state of residency and the total cost of your trip. Due to this, travel insurance prices will be quoted for each individual guest.  If cancelled you'll file a claim then provide proof of cancellation for the insurance company to review and refund if approved. 

Without insurance, there are no refunds should your plans change
Without insurance, you will also not have any medical coverage for mishaps or catastrophic events.
Your US health insurance will likely not work outside of the United States; please read the FAQ below for more detail.

What about airfare?

While the wedding couple requests that you book your room with the group, you are welcome & encouraged to book your own airfare.  See FLIGHT TIPS section for more info.

Due to contract deadlines, we recommend booking your hotel room as early as possible and adding air when you're ready.

The closest airport is [Punta Cana International] & the code is [PUJ]. Transportation is only available from this airport.

When book you flights, please so I can send you our AIR INFO form to collect your flight details. I will need to provide your flights details to the transfer company no later than 30 days prior to travel. This is how we schedule your transportation pick up at your destination. Guests who do not submit their air information by the deadline will forfeit their prepaid transfers.

Group Block FAQs


Once your room package is paid in full, you will receive a linked form via email to submit all of your flight details including airline, flight number, departure city, and flight times. It's important to submit these details within a timely manner to schedule your transfers. If these are not received, your transfers will be canceled and you will be responsible for your own transportation from the airport to the resort and back.

  • It is recommended to purchase your flights directly from the airline, NOT an online travel agency such as Expedia or Priceline
  • If possible, avoid Basic Economy fares, these are highly restrictive fares and difficult to make any changes/corrections
  • If you have a layover, please allow at least 90 minutes on the outbound and 120 minutes on the return to change planes and go through customs/immigration.
  • For your return flight, the transfer company will drop you off at the airport at least 3 hours prior to your flight time so plan your return flight times accordingly.

I will send you a reservation invoice to review for accuracy within 1-2 business days upon receiving your request.

Payment Timeline:
1st Deposit - $250 per person due by December 1, 2025 

2nd Deposit - 50% of room balance due by May 1, 2026
 Balance is due by November 1, 2026

Travel Protection (optional but highly recommended)

By purchasing travel protection, you are protecting your investment in case of any last minute cancellations as well as provide coverage for expenses incurred to delayed/cancelled flights, lost/delayed bags and heaven forbid medical attention is needed while traveling outside of the country.
